Every MacBook Air running macOS Catalina or later has the TV app built in.

How to watch TV+ or your library:

  1. Open the TV app on your MacBook
  2. (Click the TV icon in the Dock, or search “TV” with Spotlight.)
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID (same one you use on your iPhone/Apple TV).
  4. In the left sidebar choose:
    • Watch Now → for Apple TV+ content
    • Library → for movies/shows you own
    • Store → to rent or buy movies
  1. Click any title → Play

✔ No Apple TV hardware is needed

✔ Works with any MacBook Air on macOS Catalina → Sequoia → Tahoe (macOS 10.15–26)
