Magic Mouse won’t turn on or connect after years of not using it

Since I have not used the minimouse with either of my newer computers, I though i would check just to have a backup if my Logitech dies.

I first tried to just turn it on and use it but nothing. I then plugged it in for several hours to recharge the battery but get nothing again.

Now being really curious I checked the internet and not the different way to display the minimouse's batter condition and neither one seems to work.

The next was, in conjunction with last, to check the connection and find it disconnected so try to connect but it will not make the connection.

Why would it die like this when it was turned off even though it has been several years since I even thought about it?

Never MIND!!!

After posting the above I suddenly thought about trying the mouse on one of my other machine. What I got was it immediage showing 100% BATTERY but when I tried to connect it would not make the connecting even thoug under the bluetooth pick it shows connected-it is still not usable.

So, on this machine, It seems that it cannot even discover the minimouse much less connect.

I will have to do some more checking on the other machine to see if I can discover anything other than I will not accept two mice of use.
