How can I transfer an Apple Gift Card from an old iTunes account to a friend's email address?

I purchased a $100 Apple Gift Card to send to a friend. It came to my email address and downloaded to an old existing itunes account in error. I spoke with live chat support but got no help. Cannot find an email support address for Apple.

Can anyone fix this?

After redeeming the Gift Card into your account, it cannot be transferred to another account. That is likely the same information you were told with chat support. There is no email address to contact Apple directly for support. Phone support would also be available in your region.
