How do I downgrade from iOS 26 to a previous version on my iPhone 14 Plus?

I just did the update to ios26 on my iPhone 14 Plus. It will not work for me. The transparency aspect makes it so hard for me to see. I also have trouble using apps I’ve been using. I’ve only had this phone for a couple months . How do I get iOS 26 off my phone so I can go back to using my phone? This iOS 26 absolutely is not usable for me. Please help

Hi, you cannot downgrade from iOS 26 to a previous version because Apple has stopped signing older versions, meaning the downgrade channel is closed. Once a device is updated to a new iOS version, it can't be reverted to an older version through official means, and restoring from a backup won't work because backups are version sensitive. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you for letting me know. I got the phone only a few months ago but I’ll need to find a different phone as the iOS 26 is horrible . The transparency and Liquid Glass makes it unusable for me. As well as other changes. I will look for a cheap android phone that I can use and will not update again . Very disappointed in iPhone.

Thank you that helps. I only uploaded iOS 26 because the feature to use Face ID has never worked on this phone always the message when I try to set it up that “Face ID is not available at this time “ I hope iOS 26 would fix that . It didn’t, only made the phone worse

You need a new phone.
