Can’t turn on microphone access

"Can’t turn on microphone access: [...]I’ve seen other people ask this exact question on here with the exact same issue and every response is to check screen time privacy restrictions and turn it on there. I don’t have privacy restrictions enabled and everything (including microphone) automatically says allow, so I don’t think thats the issue."

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this issue began, and how you've troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Microphone Access Issues In iPhone:

A. Turn OFF ScreenTime:

Is ScreenTime a necessity? If not, turn it off. Being it already says "Allow", it would seem to be a glitch.

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Screen Time
3. Tap: Content & Privacy Restrictions
4. Select: Microphone
5. Select: "Allow Changes" is selected.

Note: If it's set to "Don't Allow" it will prevent apps from appearing in the privacy list. 

B. Force Restart your iPhone:

C. Redownload these Apps:

Find these apps in the App Store, and then trash them from your iPhone. Once trashed, restart your iPhone, and then install them., restarting after each install.
