Siri mispronounces place names on iPhone

Since ( I think) iOS 26, Siri is mispronouncing place and street names. She/he/it keeps inserting spurious letters between words or parts of words. Wildhouse Lane become Wildyhouse Lane, Baldock Way becomes Baldocky Way and so on. It gets really irritating on a long journey. Anyone else experience this? UK English. Latest version of iOS on iPhone 17 Pro.

All the time! Report it via Apple Maps feedback (Report an Issue in the panel under the map) but you'll have to report one error at a time.

I gave up on Maps, Google Maps is my go-to.

By the way, it isn't Siri, Apple Maps simply uses your current Siri Voice to verbalise directions.
