Why does blocking someone on iPhone block WhatsApp calls?
I blocked a contact in iPhone and when they are trying to call me in WhatsApp it is saying not available.

Apps like WhatsApp integrate with iOS as calling apps. Blocking a contact in iOS will also block them in all integrated calling apps.
You will have to ask WhatsApp if it's possible to not do that.
