iPad Unavailable message--but I *DO* know the passcode and have my Touch ID

iPad Unavailable message--but I *DO* know the passcode and have my Touch ID login set with the power button.

I saw several messages about what to do when you've forgotten the passcode. But none of them express what can you do if you DO know the passcode. I had a child playing with the iPad type wrong digits in several times. Nothing is forgotten and the Touch ID should still work. Any way for the adult owner to have a chance without wiping/restoring the device (I'm afraid it hasn't had a recent backup). iPad is circa 2022 and likely has one of the last 2 iPad OS's on it.

Thanks.

Sorry your child didn't know the passcode which is why your now seeing that message.

if you want to use the ipad again, then you need to wipe the ipad to factory settings, then use the latest update you have.
