Cannot evict HP.app file

The file ‘HP.app’ cannot be evicted. i cant move the HP app to trash

Can't delete stuck app I have an app that is stuck as "installing". I deleted it from Finder files, but it's still in my launchpad as installing and when I hold down on it and hit delete, it doesn't go away. How can I get rid of it?

Boot to safe mode and try to trash it there so it should not be active anymore.
