Unable to select start location on Apple Maps
Trying to find a route other than present location but Apple Maps won’t let me select start location on map.

Select a target destination
A two line box will appera with My Location at the top and the target location at the bottom.
Tap on my Location, tap X to remove it, then start typing another search function.
If you want to drop a pin then use Google maps instead.
