Geofencing to keep phone unlocked at home

Why does Apple not let us use something like geofencing to keep iPhones unlocked when we are at a safe location (like our homes)? That is EASY to do on an Android phone, but not apparently so on an iPhone. I’m tired of constantly having to unlock my phone while at home.

iPhone 15, iOS 18

Set Up Face ID:

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of continually entering your passcode to unlock you iPhone at the lock screen, then set up Face ID for ease of quickly getting in. Go Here: Set Up Face ID on iPhone - Apple Support

Thanks, but that doesn’t really answer my question- - why is Apple so unwilling to make it ad easy as a Samsung to use geofencing to keep our phones unlocked where we want them to be; I.e., at our homes? I don’t really want to let Apple have my face (yet another thing to be stolen then used for ID theft).

thx

It's not possible for anyone here to answer your question.

We are not Apple. We can not speak to why they made the design choice they did.
