How do I turn off the “active window Highlighting”?

How do I turn off the “active window Highlighting” in iOS 26.1 on 5th Gen iPad Pro 12.9” (2022)?

I’ve looked under Accessibility, General, apps and other systems settings to turn it off. This was not part of the iOS 18.x.x.

I can’t change the blue color and it’s very irritating. I am not a child, I see what app is active, but whole active windows are now backed in light or pale blue, and a big blue border surrounds the frontmost active windows. Sometimes, in Safari, the whole page will turn blue, from top to bottom and it won’t go away.

It seems to happen more when I use the arrow keys on my external Apple Magic Keyboard (connected via Bluetooth). Is that the issue?

Is this a glitch in the iOS, or did I change a setting and just can’t figure out what I did?

Please let me know if I can change this on my own.

Thank you.

I'm somewhat perplexed as to the nature of the problem that you describe. Please post a screenshot of the issue that you see - redacting the screenshot using markup tools, if necessary, to obscure any personal or sensitive information:
