How do I remove iOS 26.1 update due to increased battery loss and data usage?

I want the new iOS 26.1 update to be removed from my phone as it has caused more battery loss,my data to be all used up

iOS updates cannot be removed or rolled back, sorry.


The Battery usage is normal after the update as it finishes up update tasks in the background. It should normalize itself in a few days.


It should not however use any of your mobile data, unless you updated through your mobile connection and not Wi-Fi.

There has never been any supported way to downgrade an OS version. Even if you look at the Android phones, those that have tried ending up with a bricked phone and having to purchase a new phone. That is why Google does not support it either.


I would not expect everyone to like any iOS update and there will always be some that don't like it. That was true for iOS 18, 17, 16 etc. My family can't even agree on what to have for dinner and someone will always be unhappy with the choice made.
