How do I downgrade from iOS 26.1 to a previous version on my iPhone 16?

Dear Apple 2 days ago I received notice of an update to my Apple I phone 16. The update was to install iOS 26.1. I installed this update. Is there any way to reverse this update as iOS 26.1 in my opinion this update is total rubbish. My phone is slow, delayed locks up and in general horrible to use after the update. Can you help PLEASE.

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user-to-user site. We are all users here....just like you. Apple is not here. They won't see your post or reply.
