Re: Why do I get charged half a month early for my subscriptions?
As Apple users, like yourself, in the community, we have no access to your acounts or details in order to check this payment out for you. Maube it's a new subscriptiion, and you were were charged for the first month when subscribing, and this payment may be for the month up ahead ?
The number of days in a month, holidays etc., can make a small difference to a.payment's due date.
You may have an e-mailed receipt that explains
or
You might want to double-check the due date for your particular subscriptiions :
Settings > [Your name] > Subscriptions
More info: Apple support have an article online (link below) that may be helpful:
How apps, content, and subscriptions from Apple are billed - Apple Support
If needed:
Billing and Subscriptions support has a website (ie: with info / support / contact options etc.)

Look at the receipts. If you see overlapping subscriptions and you use Family Sharing it could be another family member that has a subscription.
Thank you kindly for your reply, and added info... sorry there's not much, if anything, community members can do to help rectify the situation, and Apple is unlikely to see your post to us.

If the "out-of-step" payments, are causing issues for you, there are a couple of suggestions below.
There is a "Report a Problem" option: https://reportaproblem.apple.com/?s=6
(NB: If the subscriptions are not for Apple's own products, Find the URL for content to report a concern - Apple Support)
or
If you want an explanation or to ask for some action ... Billing and Subscriptions support team can be reached from the "Get Support - start now" link at the bottom of their website.(Eg: Online chat / phone email etc.)
Are these Apple for Apple things, or subscription to a non-Apple service?
I presume these are subscriptions you are making through Apple. Some subscriptions can be made directly with a vendor through their web site and you would need contact them about this.
No, I have had the same subscriptions for years. For example; I have a set that is not due until January 4th but I got charged for them all yesterday. And this happens all the time.
