How to update firmware on Powerbeats Pro, if I have only one earphone and «Beats» require two to start updating? (Second one was lost years ago)

How to update firmware on Powerbeats Pro, if I have only one earphone? I lost the second one like... Years ago, then just forgot about these earphones, and now I want to use them. Without the update the only earphone left just shuts down after ten-twenty minutes (usually when reach 98%), because it wasnt updated for... Really long time. Its version is still at 5B66, and the last one is 6F8. I have Android, so they will not update automatically. But the «Beats» requires both earphones to be in the case to start updating! How can I uptade them to continue using?

(Sorry for mistakes, English is not my first language)

Beats

Unforutnately, Powerbeats Pro firmware updates require both earbuds to be present, charged, and in the case. There is no supported way to force a firmware update with only one earbud, regardless of whether you’re using Android or iOS. The Beats app is correctly blocking the update because the system validates both earbuds before proceeding.

That shutdown behavior you’re seeing at ~98% is a known symptom of very old firmware combined with battery aging, so your diagnosis is likely correct. Your realistic options are: (1) purchase a single replacement Powerbeats Pro earbud (left or right, matching your remaining one) and update once both are present, (2) visit an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider to see if they can pair a replacement temporarily, or (3) replace the headphones entirely. Sadly, there’s no software-only workaround.
