iOS 18.7.3 update not showing in Software update on iPhone nor on Mac connected via USB. Is Apple forcing iOS 26 on iPhones capable of running 26 in order to get the latest security updates leaving existing iOS 18 users no choice? I don't agree with this approach.
Apple stopped signing it for models capable of 26; they were only going to offer that option for a limited time anyway.
Qualifying it for units which can be updated past it takes additional development and testing.

Seems that whatever logic applies to not offering iOS 18.7.3 for my iPhone 15 Pro should also apply to iPadOS 18.7.3 for my 12.9" iPad Pro 6th generation, yet iPadOS 18.7.3 did appear in the list of updates for my iPad Pro (in addition to iPadOS 26.2, of course). Not sure what Apple saves by developing and testing iOS 18.7.3 but in the end not "qualifying" it. I probably just don't understand qualifying.
