Saving Word Files Elsewhere:
Save these to your Desktop, but you need to do so manually...
I. Remove OneDrive as a Login Item:
- Go to: System Settings
- Click: General
- Click: Login Items & Extensions
- Toggle Off: Microsoft OneDrive
- Toggle Off: OneDrive

II. Save to iCloud Drive:
- Click: Word Menu
- Select: File
- Click: iCloud Drive (on the left pane)
- Click: Save
