Is Apple discontinuing the Mac Pro?

We here in the community are simple users like yourself, with no knowledge of Apple's inner working or reasoning.

We can't answer the "Why?" questions and we aren't allowed to speculate about the actions Apple will take.

The best you can do is keep your eyes on the trade publications.

Assuming you really do mean the Mac Pro (tower desktop) and not the MacBook Pro (laptop) - the Mac Pro upgrade cycle has historically been much slower than other products, meaning it doesn’t get a refreshed model as often. If you are basing your concern off of the fact that there hasn’t been a new one in a while, I wouldn’t read too much into that.

You’ve been reading too many rumor sites like AppleInsider or 9to5Mac. No one knows except Apple themselves and they’re not talking. Whenever a product hasn’t been updated for awhile the rumor mill starts churning out uninformed noise. Why are you concerned about the Mac Pro being discontinued?
