viewing files in iCloud with 26.1

viewing files in iCloud with 26.1 on an iPad Air. It is no longer possible to swipe on to next file. This is very inconvenient. I have folders with multiple file types, images, videos, text all togetner. With 26.1 I can no longer view them in succession but have to open in Preview and close each time, very time consuming and a deal breaker potentially in use of iCloud. Is there a work-around?
