Apple TV model A1469 wifi issues

I have an older Apple TV model A1469, that does not recognize my wifi. I get an error message (-100) indicating my password is not recognized. I have done a reset and I get the same message. It “sees” all my wifi accounts but indicates password is wrong. Is there a master reset? I have done the reset from the menu and it says all setting will be erased, but it does not allow me to reset the wifi?? at a loss here for direction

The Apple TV (3rd generation) A1469 doesn’t support the WPA3 Wi-Fi security protocol (it was implemented around 2018), so please check that your router or access point isn’t set to require WPA3 from devices, if you want to connect this model. Instead set your router or access point to include a prior version WPA: “WPA2/WPA3 Transitional”.
