Apple Account balance prevents payment update

Hi,

I’m having an issue with Payment & Shipping.

I have an Apple Account balance of $0.03.

My payment card is no longer valid, and I can’t add a new one.

Because of this, I’m unable to use or remove this balance.

Please remove or reset the Apple Account balance so I can fix my payment settings.

I’m unable to use or remove my Apple Account balance because the card on file belongs to my friend in the U.S., and I don’t have access to it. I’m currently in Iran and cannot use that card.

Could you please remove or reset my Apple Account balance so I can update my payment settings?

I'm afraid there's nothing you nor we can do. We cannot do anything because this is a user to user forum. We are not Apple.

You can't do anything because your account should be set to the country where you reside. However, Apple does not have a country setting for Iran. You cannot download anything from the App or Media stores when you are in Iran so you do not need a payment method on your account.
