Missing file after random update
My MacBook Air restarted and updated in the middle of a project and now the file is gone. Any chance of getting it back?

My MacBook Air restarted and updated in the middle of a project and now the file is gone. Any chance of getting it back?

Check these first:
• Trash folder
• Recent files (Finder)
• Spotlight search (file name or type)
• iCloud Drive (especially Desktop/Documents)
• Time Machine backup, if enabled
If the app crashed during update, the file may not have been saved.

No idea what kind if file, where it was, or whether you had it backed up or saved at all.
