AirPods disconnect from Mac when anything breaks line of sight.

My AirPods Pro (2nd generation, type C) lose connection to my Mac (M1 Mini, 2020) when I turn my head. They work perfectly fine with my iPhone (13 Pro) and iPad (M4 Pro). Sometimes it happens when I turn to the right side, sometimes it's the left so I guess they switch which pod is the "master" one, but it's almost always when my head blocks line of sight between one of them and the Mac that is on my desk around 60-70 cm away from me. If I sit very still they also disconnect after some time. When they do the noise cancellation on one of the ears turns into a ringing like echo, then disconnection sound and they refuse to reconnect for a good half minute and when they do the same process starts again. Connectivity in general is very bad, the batteries widget loses them too every few minutes even if I place the AirPods directly on top of the Mac. Again, the AirPods work perfectly with my iPhone and iPad, even if I move to longer distances from the phone or tablet.

I've already tried all the steps recommended here or on other forums, including resetting the AirPods and resetting my Mac's bluetooth modem. Every device is running the latest stable firmware.

Mac mini, macOS 26.2
