Apple Music is not available on the latest Mercedes MBUX

Why Apple Music is not available on latest Mercedes MBUX?

It was on older versions of MBUX but not anymore…

Apparently the MBUX 3.2.2 version was the last to support Apple Music and I guess Amazon Music too. There is some discussion on that over at the MB forum and car owners who had the system updated lost access.

That would be a great question for Mercedes to answer and you can start at the dealer to make your voice heard, but obviously they are not the decision makers.

Thanks Mac for your response. I’ve been following that forums thread, but still and there’s some useful info in it, but nothing about when/if will Mercedes release the app again.

I’ve contacted the brand and they told me that’s on Apple side… it was supposed to be released this autumn, but… l guess I’ll have to wait and keep asking them (hopefully they’ll hear 😞)

Odd that this only affects the new version of MBUX and still available on previous versions. It is possible there is more to the story. I do know what motivation Apple would having in delaying, unless there is some discussion over user data sharing, which may be a no go for Apple.
