Newly created domain email for Apple Account

Hello! How long does it take for a new created domain or subdomain to be marked as legit and be usable for Apple (as in use the new domain's email address to change an apple account primary email address)?

Sending and receiving work for the new created domain emails - both internal and external; But when I'm tying to change the primary email for the Apple Account, it says "Enter a valid email address".
