Email Back Arrow Menu - Is there a way to make back arrow show automatically for menu actions without scrolling?

When you select an email, is there a way to make the back (menu) button at the bottom of a multi-page email show up on your screen automatically even if you are not at the bottom of the email? It’s a huge pain to have to scroll down to bottom of a long multi-page email just to make the back arrow show on the screen.

It would be much easier to access the menu if it worked off top back (reply) arrow also, perhaps with a long press?
