Assuming that you have a Mac computer, iPad or iPhone, you will need to install and use the AirPort Utility App:

With the App installed, you'll be able to setup the AirPort Router - configuring the Router as required.

If the AirPort Extreme has been previously set-up, you may need to reset the Router. You'll find the recessed reset button on the back of the AirPort Extreme - and will need an unfolded paperclip or the tip of a pencil/pen; press and hold for ~10 seconds.

If you set up the replacement AirPort Extreme with the exact same device name, device password, wireless network name, wireless network password, then the other AirPorts will connect to the replacement AirPort when they are powered up again.

Power off all the AirPorts. Set up the replacement AirPort Extreme and then power up the other AirPorts one at a time about a minute apart.

Not sure what you mean when you say that you have a "new" AirPort Extreme though. This product was discontinued almost 8 years ago, so if the AirPort really is "new", it has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a long long time.

The AirPorts are about 5 years behind the curve as far as wireless security, but they are probably still OK with a simple home network.
