A dying battery can cause all sorts of issues.

What is your Battery Health percentage at Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Maximum Capacity? If that one is under 80%, then you need a battery replacement. Also seen when the battery was replaced by an unauthorized service provider.

If you have not performed a Force Restart to do some house keeping after the update, I would also recommend that:

• Press and quickly release Volume Up
• Press and quickly release Volume Down
• Press and HOLD side button until the Apple Logo appears. This may take up to 15 seconds while holding the side button and you have to ignore anything else on the screen. If you do not see the Apple logo, try again as it may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence correct.

All we can say is that you will see exactly what you described when the battery needs replacing. You likely also have Service Warnings in your settings for the battery that have been ignored up until now. Normally those are seen when it drops under 80% and the battery replacement is expected at that time.

It's like taking your car to the shop because it is shaking and you have a flat tire. Absolutely the tire may be the cause and you can expect exactly that with a flat tire. You won''t be able to troubleshoot any further until you get that tire fixed.

It's about $100 for a battery change and you will need to consider if that is best spent on an iPhone 14 or if it is better to put that money into a new device purchase. No one here will be able to predict if there is a Logic board problem or if that will fail next month where you would likely need to purchase a new phone anyway.
