Scrambled letters on magic keyboard

Suddenly this morning my magic keyboard (running Tahoe 26.2 BTW) is all scrambled. It can jump from the end of a word to the beginning and omit letters. My old usb keyboard works fine. I used canned air to clean it. No luck. HELP
