Removing categories in mail on iOS 26.2 on iPhone 13

In the app, tap on the Inbox. Look for the circle with three horizontal lines in it. Tap on it and you should see something like the screenshot. Pick the List View.

In the Mail app while looking at your messages:

Tap the three dots at the top, and choose “List View”.
