Why is Siri not responding audibly on my new iPhone 17?

I have a new iPhone 17. I've had it two weeks and now Siri does not respond audibly to anything. I have checked all the settings and verified that the microphone works. I simply don't know what to do next. I'm not to keen on going back to factory settings and starting over. Any advice?
