I've seen numerous posts about this, giving complicated and non-working 'solutions' to this issue...

Here is how to hide zero values in Numbers the simple way...

Just select the relevant cells, and match the text colour with the cell colour, job done.

A custom cell format works, too, and is super simple to apply to other cells.
