USB-A/3.0 ports not working on MacBook Pro M2 (2022)
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a new CalDigit Element Hub Thunderbolt 4, and I’m having trouble getting it to work properly with my MacBook Pro M2 13-inch (2022), Tahoe.
At first, the hub wasn’t recognized at all. I updated macOS, installed the CalDigit Thunderbolt Station Utility, and even changed the Thunderbolt 4 cable. The hub is now detected, and the USB-C connection works fine.
However, none of the USB-A or USB 3.0 ports seem to work — any device I plug in isn’t detected by my Mac. I’ve also tried using different hubs and USB-A to USB-C adapters, and the result is the same, so it doesn’t seem to be a cable or adapter issue.
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a fix? I’d really appreciate any help, as I rely on these ports for work.
Thanks in advance!
