I’m reaching out for assistance regarding an iPhone I purchased second-hand last year through Facebook Marketplace.
At the time, I was not aware that the device might have been reported as lost or stolen.
I don’t have an official proof of purchase, only the fact that I bought it via Facebook Marketplace from a private seller.
I would like to confirm the status of this iPhone and understand what options, if any, are available to me.
Could you please advise whether I can verify the ownership status of my device, and what information I can provide (such as the serial number or IMEI) to help with this process?
