backup iphone xs 512g on windows / itunes / external hard drive USB (1To free)

hello,

impossible to backup my iphone since 2022

it runs several hours and then I get an error 'iphone disconnected' (it runs sometimes for 24H but never stops and no progression)

I think there is a bug in IOS

I bought a new cable from apple to be sure it is not the cable

I tried to backup more than ten times, so I gave up and I am not willing to upgrade IOS without any backup
