Issue with Face ID

Hello,

I have dropped my iPhone 12 in water and unfortunately, this has caused the TrueDepth camera to stop functioning properly. Because of that, my iPhone's Face ID does not work anymore. My phone also indicated that I needed to restore it using my computer. However, this is impossible for me to do, because in order for my phone to trust my computer and be detected, I have to use Face ID. But since I can't, it never allows the computer to modify my phone. I also cannot disable my iPhone's protection in case it is stolen because this also requires Face ID. What should I do ? Should I just reset my phone ? In that case, how can I save my files considering that I cannot put my data anywhere because Face ID is preventing my phone from allowing PCs to communicate ?
