I retired after 28 years with Social Security Administration. I have a BS of E in Social Science from what is now Truman University and an MS in New Media Studies from DePaul University. I am currently working on an MS in US Military History from AMU. I am single, not children, with a book addiction that I am not trying to cure anytime soon. I love technology and needlework as well. I am an active member of the Chicago Civil War Round Table and the Chicago Corral of the Westerners. I am a professional genealogist, historian and also do some desktop publishing including proofreading, editing and indexing. My area of expertise is the US Civil War.
