Is there inbuilt vpn on Iphone or do i need to install one from the App Store ?

You need to use a 3rd-party VPN product. There are many that have versions for both the computer and your iOS device. The software is often free but you will pay for the service.

Once installed Settings will usually provide an On-Off slider switch for the VPN. That's all there is to do.
