I created a backup for my iPhone 6s a few months ago. I then had the phone stolen. I could only afford an iPhone 5 as a replacement. When I try to restore the backup it says the the backup is not compatible with my version of iOS. I can't update the iOS past 10.3.3.
What can I do to get my backup?

Unfortunately you can’t. The backup is for the iPhone 6s only and not compatible with the 5 sorry
The 5 only goes to 10.3.3 so can’t do that either
