Caller ID

When I call someone from my iphone it identifies me by an old nickname. I want to change that.

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Your outgoing caller ID only includes a telephone number. Any name or nickname is provided by someone else - either your cellular carrier, or, more likely, the telephone call recipient.
