I have read that this a sign of a virus or malware. My search settings are on google but it still redirects me to yahoo. What should I do ti fix this?

You have adware/malware installed. Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After scanning a couple of times, restart the computer and test. If necessary, follow the manual instructions. Do not download any other programs that are listed in the articles. Malwarebytes uninstall

Thank you so much! I did the first suggestion and downloaded the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac. It is back to normal now .

When I look something up in safari with my Mac it redirects me to search.yahoo.com
