My watch works but I am not able to change the voice/sound setting. How do I turn the darned thing off??

This sounds like one of the Accessibility functions. In the Watch app on your iPhone go to General/Accessibility and turn off VoiceOver. You might want to make sure Zoom is also off while you’re in there.

I can’t figure out how to stop my Apple Watch from speaking it tells me what time but it tells me if I got a notice coming up what scheduled all kinds of stuff that I do not want it to do how do I turn it off

Please explain, what voice/sound setting? What do you do/see/hear which is annoying you? When we know what you want to achieve we can make suggestions.
