Why is my apple account locked and how to I get you to unlock it??
Well, I would go through iforgotapple to reset my password, I reset my password and the in a few days I get a message to enter my password into settings, I enter my newly reset password and it say it failed and my account is locked for security reasons and I have to reset my password again. In the last few months this has happen continuously. Is there any way to end this cycle?

The user never stated that the change in password request came through email. Also, it is possible for your Apple ID to get locked if you enter the password incorrectly too many times, as stated on the Apple website through the link below.

there is a contact link.
Apple Support by e-mail or chat Work through the screens to get a chat option. You may need to pick a problem that is slightly different than yours to get a chat option.
Or fill out and submit this form. The form is for iTunes, but it will get passed to the ID Support section.
The link below should help you with unlocking your Apple ID.

Hope this helps!
The user never stated that the change in password request came through email.
That's why I responded as I did. The user didn't say where these requests were coming from at all. That left a lot of room for interpretation.
If you look around the forums, there are at least a few topics per day where the user got a fake email saying their account was locked, or threatened to be locked unless they clicked on a link to "verify" their ID and password.
Yes, I fully realize there are other ways to make this happen, but given how much more often a scam is involved made it necessary to mention the possibility.
Such emails are scams. Apple does not send out any such messages.
Either that, or you'll need to be much more specific about where you're getting these messages.
