Question

deleting favorites from favorite page

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro MacOS Mojave version 10.14.5. I HAVE A WHOLE PAGE OF FAVORITE ICONS. HOW DO I DELETE SOME OF THEM??

Are you in Safari? It should work. Remember RightClick usually set up to need two fingers not one.

Try Bookmarks, Edit Favourites, then highlight the bookmark and delete the line in the list using RightClick or cmd+backspace

Standard thing to try is Right-click and look for a Delete option.

you don’t make it clear but if you are talking Safari favourites then the above will work.

If you haven’t set up right click use ctrl key + click

you know, last night I clicked on edit bookmarks, and double clicked on favorites, which took the favorites from an icon to a horizontal lines, clicked on the favorite line which highlighted it, clicked edit, then delete. it worked!!! thanks so much for your help!!!

neither right click or control click work, it just brings up the favorite page. thank you though

nope, I used 2 fingers and right clicked my apple mouse and neither worked. my computer doesn't have an EDIT for favorites. I have MacBook Pro, Mac OS Mojave Version 10.14.5
