Passwords for WiFi and network

Is there a way that a person can access a WiFi password to a network they’ve connected to? Or can apple make that one of their new features?

If someone has been previously given the password to a wifi network and they have successfully connected to it, they will be able to connect to it again, unless whoever manages that network changes the password.
