Phone call from "Apple"

I received a phone call on my home phone. It was a recorded message saying it was from Apple and that my Apple ID had been compromised and should not use my Apple ID. Has anyone else ever received a phone message like this before?

There are dozens of such posts here daily. They are scams from criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information.

Yes, I rceived this call yesterday and fell for it. It was from an Apple support number. It was a thieving scam. Among other things, they redirected my email to their box. Go ahead and email them and ask about this scam directly. They went into my Amazon account and got themselves some prepaid xbox gift cards.
