Printing from an iPad

Is it possible to print from an iPad to a printer that is not wireless nor airprint enabled? Is there an adapter available?

If you can find one, a Lantronix xPrintServer can provide AirPrint services for printers that are not natively AirPrint enabled.

Newer models of the xPrintServer for iOS only support printers with Postscript capability, however, older models (such as XPS1002HM-01) can support a wide variety of printers. Be careful when purchasing to ensure you know which model you are buying! (Older models can often be found in one of the popular on-line auction sites)

Alternatively, as Lyssa has already mentioned, a PC with a suitable "helper App" installed (such as Printer Pro - a free companion component for the similarly titled Printer Pro App found in the Apple App Store), your PC can act as a print server for iOS.
