9/10 times I export a project, the timing doesnt line up in the exported file like it did in the project. I shoot a lot of music videos and this is driving me nuts. Has been happening over the past 6 months. FCPX is up to date. Tried re install. I've tried different frame rates (shooting and project / export settings) and I can't find any consistencies.
Anyone have similar issues / resolution?

ok I think I found something... I am btw wired / wireless headphones + monitors at office. Playback in FCPX to my wireless beats is different from playback in quicktime player. Wtfff going to test this some more.

To clarify,
Testing the project + exported file:
In sync - FCPX playback internal speakers
out of sync - FCPX playback Beats Wireless
In sync - QuickTime Player Internal speakers
In sync - QuickTime Player wireless beats
This has happened with m4a, mp3, WAV formats.
I assume this is not happening with video clips with attached audio, but with separate audio files. Has the video and audio been synced in the sync clip function, or is this completely separate audio? What are the audio sample rates if the video files and of the separate audio? What are the audio file formats you're using?
How are you monitoring the audio in FCP? Are you using speakers or headphones directly connected to the computer?
The video is also 44.1? Normally video production uses 48K as the standard. You might try converting the 44.1 to 48 and using a 48K project.
Ok, will try that.
Converted to 48, restarted fcpx, imported and lined up in project. Export is still out of sync.
Does it drift out of sync?
No, it quite consistent, all the video feels a bit late. I've moved the audio out of sync in project to get it in sync in the export.
