How do I remove programs and applications from automatically starting on start up? Thanks

Whatever you do, do not download anything from MacPaw, their apps are practically malware.

Menu > Apple > System Preferences > Users & Groups > You > Login Items > Select the Apps in the list and click on the – button underneath
